It all begins with the combination of ordered and chaotic lines. The concept that I would like to reflect in my work comes from the creative result by mixing both kinds of lines.
An initial spontaneous line, created with a simple gesture, generates hundreds of following parallel lines and the result of this repetitive process generates an obvious organic pattern. In this way, the character that each of my artworks has in its process and final outcome has a lot in common with natural elements. Having organic materia and topography as first inspiration for my study of the line, my pieces usually remind to a calligraphy work or even landscapes.
After a constant and deep research of the origin of sacred geometry in different cultures, I have come to the conclusion of the use of simple geometric elements. The basic geometry appears spontaneously through the practice of chaotic, ordered and organic lines. The use of these elements allows me to create order through the chaos and reflect chaos behind a perfect order.
