Art gallery in Valencia

Shiras Galería was founded in 2015 under the artistic direction of Sara Joudi. It is located in Vilaragut Street, next to the iconic Plaza de Rodrigo Botet, within Valencia's old town quarters. Shiras is a member of Consortium Contemporary Art Galleries of Spain, LAVAC (Contemporary Art Galleries Association of Valencia) and the Association Valencia Excellence.
Emerge with the aim of offering an intergenerational proposal undertaken large-caliber artists whose speech is complemented by the voice of artists from more emergent character.
The art gallery consists of two spaces; the Main hall, It celebrates our commitment to contemporary art undertaken by a selected repertoire of established artists within the current scene. Moreover, we have ourShelter space once built as a refuge for war, this intimate and secluded room, safeguarded by wide brick walls, offers an exhibition space of avant-garde concepts, with ephemeral installations and the works of a selection of promising emerging artists. Occasionally, works from the artists' collections and the gallery's funds are also exhibited.
This intergenerational dialogue is the baseline of the gallery's program, whose concepts, formed by paintings, sculptures, drawings and installations, lend the visitor a refreshing view on current trends in contemporary art.
